Boths keys change the view of the current active screen, but the behavior how they do that depends on if the system consists either of a single screen or more.

Single screen¶

Here both grabs do exactly the same.

Multi screen¶

Here the behavior depends on if the selected view is visible on another screen or not.

• ViewSwitch either swaps the current view with the selected if it is visible on another screen or just sets the selected view on current screen.
• ViewJump either focus the selected view if it is visible on another screen or just sets the select view on current screen.
